Greetings from Carakistan es el nombre con el que el 4to Reich, una de las bandas pioneras del punk rock y hardcore en Venezuela, titula su 4to EP, la portada nos recuerda una postal, pero como era de esperar, con el barniz irónico de la banda: una calavera vestida de turista nos saluda desde la muy salvaje y caótica capital de Venezuela. Esta publicación que contiene 6 temas es una mezcla de las influencias y estilos que amalgama la banda, eso sí, siempre dentro de la corriente punk.

Los temas incluidos son Manipulación Papal, una crítica a la iglesia católica por su posición relajada frente a la pederastia y corrupción dentro de su seno, y que han decidido usar como tema promocional, el videoclip será estrenado el Jueves 26 de mayo desde su canal de YouTube: 4to Reich, Mentes Falsas tema impregnado de un sonido surf-punk, pero que alerta sobre las intenciones de la gente que te rodea, para los mas radicales está el hardcore punk Idiota, que levanta la voz contra el bullying, con letras muy abrasivas y mucho punk rock tenemos, Patada por el Culo y Centro de Atracción, para terminar con una mezcla de rockabilly y punk rock llamada Psychobilly, en la que confirman su compromiso con el hardcore punk.

Con Greetings from Carakistan el 4to Reich culmina la regrabación de temas compuestos en sus orígenes, algunos prácticamente inéditos, otros conocidos dentro de la escena punk venezolana de mediados de los 80s, pero todos con el estilo agresor y desenfadado que los caracteriza.

Greetings from Carakistan, fue grabado de forma remota entre Caracas, Miami, Ontario y Dallas y mezclado y masterizado en Madrid, España por Julio Alonso y estará disponible a partir del viernes 3 de junio en Spotify y en las principales plataformas de streaming.

Greetings from Carakistan is the name of 4th Reich next release. They are one of the Venezuelan punk rock and hardcore pioneer bands. this 4th EP cover reminds us of a postcard, but as expected, with the ironic varnish of the band: a skull dressed as a tourist greets us from the very wild and chaotic capital of Venezuela. This release has 6 songs and is a mixture of the influences and styles that the band amalgamates, but always within the punk genre.

The topics included are Papal Manipulation, a criticism of the Catholic Church for its relaxed position against pederasty and corruption within it, and that they have decided to use as a promotional theme, the video clip will be released on Thursday, May 26 from their YouTube channel. YouTube: 4th Reich, False Minds, a song imbued with a surf-punk sound, but one that warns about the intentions of the people around you. For the most radical, there is the hardcore punk song called Idiota, which raises its voice against bullying, with very abrasive and a lot of punk rock we have, Kick for the Ass and Center of Attraction, to finish with a mixture of rockabilly and punk rock called Psychobilly, in which they confirm their commitment to hardcore punk.

With Greetings from Carakistan the 4th Reich culminates the re-recording of songs originally composed, some unreleased, others known within the Venezuelan punk scene of the mid-80s, but all with the aggressive and carefree style that characterizes them.

Greetings from Carakistan, was recorded remotely between Caracas, Miami, Ontario and Dallas and mixed and mastered in Madrid, Spain by Julio Alonso and will be available starting Friday, June 3 on Spotify and major streaming platforms.
