Vidres A La Sang, the institution of Catalan and Catalan-language extreme metal, are back with Fragments De L’Esdevenir, a fifth opus that also marks the 20th anniversary of their foundation. After their resounding return from ten years of inactivity with Set De Sang in 2018, singer and guitarist Eloi Boucherie (White Stones) decided to make the best of the pandemic to create the five songs that make up this album, and in his own words, we find ourselves before “Five snippets of the future through the prism of present times; reflection, introspection, complaint, and abhorrence of a society in everflowing decadence, but also a homage to the poetry and life chants of the immortal Catalan author Miquel Martí i Pol”.
To summarize, Vidres A La Sang in all its splendor, with compositions as only this pioneering band can offer, full of black metal, death, and once again resorting only to gutturals, where the most plain passages are dark, deep, and devastating, and the complex ones, more intricate than ever before in their impeccable career.
It was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Eloi Boucherie himself at his Farm Of Sounds studio, Fragments De L’Esdevenir counts with the exceptional collaboration of Martín Méndez (Opeth, White Stones) on bass as session musician, who comes to cover the absence of Marcos García, original bass player of the band. Albert Martí (Foscor, Jade) on lead guitar and Jordi Farré ((DOLCH), Rumours, Crippled Black Phoenix, Foscor) on drums complete the line-up. With the usual quality, Heresie Studio has been in charge of the album cover and artwork. Fragments De L’Esdevenir is the definitive step in the consolidation of Vidres A La Sang’s personality, a band that walks alone, far from fashion, pretensions, and trends.

El 1 de Julio saldrá oficialmente el 5º disco de Vidres A La Sang "Fragments De L’Esdevenir"
la quinta obra de la banda catalana que además marca el 20 aniversario de su fundación.

Después del retorno sonado que significó "Set De Sang" en 2018 tras diez años de inactividad, el cantante y guitarra Eloi Boucherie (White Stones) decidió aprovechar la pandemia para crear los cinco temas que componen este álbum, y en sus propias palabras, nos encontramos ante “Cinco fragmentos de un porvenir en clave de un presente inmediato, reflexión, introspección, denuncia, y hartazgo de una sociedad en continua decadencia, pero donde también hay espacio para los homenajes poéticos, y cantos a la vida y la esperanza bajo la pluma del inmortal poeta Miquel Martí i Pol”.

Es decir, Vidres A La Sang en todo su esplendor, con composiciones como sólo esta banda pionera puede ofrecer, repletas de black metal, death, y otra vez recurriendo únicamente a los guturales, donde los pasajes más desnudos son oscuros, profundos y devastadores, y los complejos, más intrincados que nunca antes en su intachable trayectoria.

Grabado, producido, mezclado y masterizado por el propio Eloi Boucherie en su estudio Farm Of Sounds, Fragments De L’Esdevenir cuenta con la excepcional colaboración al bajo de Martín Méndez (Opeth, White Stones) en calidad de músico de sesión, quien viene a cubrir la ausencia de Marcos García, bajista original del combo. Albert Martí (Foscor, Jade) a la guitarra solista y Jordi Farré ((DOLCH), Rumours, Crippled Black Phoenix, Foscor) como batería completan la formación.
