1. You have all been busy on the road and I'm seeing that you guys are booking heavy these days. That shows us all your heart and how important reaching out to many with your music is to TYRANNICAL DECEPTION. What are you guys ultimately wanting to accomplish when you get out there and book shows?
“For the most part it's just to have fun and get our music out there and, you know, of course maybe get signed to a label.”
2. What other future, 2024 dates, or scheduled performance details can you break us off with right now?
“Um, let me think. Right now, it's gonna be, we have one, of course the 8th but we have one April 6th gonna be at the Haltom. We have one April 12th that's gonna be in Dallas. Then we're also gonna be playin on May 18th at the Arkansas Death Fest, (Something we're really, really hyped for.) and then we got one June 13th. That’s gonna be I believe that one's at the Halton too.”
3. That covers pretty much the intro for your summertime shows and I'm pretty sure as the year progresses y'all are gonna have a lot more coming in. What do y'all do in your free time nowadays? I mean, I know y'all all have to be busy working and rehearsal but what do y'all do in your free time?
“Yeah, we normally just trying to stick with our family and friends spending time with them, that's pretty much it.”
4. Can you give us a run through on who all is in the band now so the people that are just now coming into the TD era breakthrough on how the new line up has held up and how it's working out for TD?
“Of course, it's always been me, Remmy, and my brother Cody. We ended up getting Dan Hix in for guitar and then Justyn Moon for bass from ASPHYXIATION INFECTA. Those guys have been great since day one. They’re really talented musicians. They just bring so much to the to the plate and this is the next album is gonna be even crazier than the first.”
5. So when is that album coming out?
“That doesn't have a date yet. But we're about finished finishing up right now. We have a few other releases before that comes out.”
6. With the release of the single “The Gluttonous One”, how receptive with your fans and society when you all released it back in November of 2023?
“Yeah, actually, whenever it released on Thanksgiving, it kind of took off. I mean, we have like, I don't know, it was like uh 2.5K views, it was pretty quick. We got another one coming.”
7. How do you feel about performing for your fans at the Haltom Theater side stage with Coven Underground on March 8th?
“Yes, it'll be our first time on the side stage, and we are stoked. Remmy has been wanting to hit that side stage for a little bit. It’s really something that we've been wanting to do.”
8. What can we expect as far as your next performance on March 8th on the side stage?
“Um, energy. We try to bring as much energy as possible and we're probably playing one or two new songs. So people look out.”
9.That was my next question. Can we look forward to you coming out on stage while you're up there? Like, because that would just be awesome. Y'all just throw it in there, bam, get the crowd riled up. My final and last two questions. Are there any words of encouragement for those stepping on to their very first stage ever in the music community?
“Just. keep it, bring the energy and, people will love you. Keep your head up and keep on the grind.”
10. Perfect, perfect. And now what about for your followers, your fans, anything you wanna say to them?
“Yeah, thanks to all the followers and all the support throughout the last couple of years and you know, just keeping this thing going. They are the ones that keep it going. So, we appreciate all our fans and all our friends and family for every bit of their support.”
