1. Can you give me a background on how and when Dante Wilkins was brought into Demonseed?

“Well Dante was an official member at the end of last month, while we were in tour, Terry from Coprolalia was bragging on his drummer for Vermonosis. We caught a couple of his play throughs on YouTube. A Dying Fetus cover, and a Gorgasm cover. They were phenomenal and he was so young!? Very impressive. We asked if he’d be interested in filling in, and he agreed and sent a couple play throughs of some DS songs and he really knocked them out the park. It wasn’t long after we knew we’d found our new drummer and asked him to join full time.”

2. What was the West Coast Excursion experience like for you all and would you do it again?

“West Coast Excursion was awesome!!! It was our first with this lineup and we couldn’t have been more pleased!! We hired Adrain Galindo, to handle drums on the road and got on w it! We didn’t want to come home! Lol if it had been up to us, we’d still be on the road.”

3. Since your 3 song EP entitled “Chemical Abuse” was released on August 18, 2021, when can we expect more DEMONSEED abuse?

“If everything goes well, we will begin recording for a new release by the end of the year. We’ve already got most of it written, but we’d like to give Dante (drummer) a chance to really dig in and create something special.”

4. Any words of encouragement for those going on stage for the very first time?

“Don’t forget to give the business side of your art its own attention. You can write the best songs on the planet, and while it carries its own set of passions; if the industry doesn’t hear it, it won’t get the proper recognition and response you need. Momentum is essential to keep your material working for you. Do it because you love it. Handle your business because your bandmates deserve a proper platform to succeed.”

5. Last but not least and especially for your fans?

“We would just like to say to the fans that we love all your support you’ve given us over the years we wouldn’t be able to do a lot of the things we’ve done without y’all and to new bands on the scene keep grinding and stay brutal!! We are so blessed to be from an area of the world that produces the best death metal bands!!! TXDM for life!!!!"
