1. What inspires you all as artists?

“I can't speak for the rest of the band but what inspires me is my love for music in general. It's an outward expression of who we are as individuals inside and a release of energy!! To be able to express that with 3 other like-minded dudes is really kick ass and inspirational in itself!!”

2 Which Within Chaos songs off the 2006 “What doesn’t kill you” or the 2007 “Virulent” full length albums are your favorites to perform on stage?

“LMAO!! Ha I would say ‘Rebirth of Rebellion’ is definitely one of my favorites of those ancient recordings, haha.. It's fun to play and a crowd favorite for sure.”

3. What kind of energy can we expect from WITHIN CHAOS at Haltom Theater on March 30?

“Every ounce from teeth to toenail and asshole to elbow!! We are going to bring it!!”

4. Has your message in your lyrics or melody changed since revamping from NECROGAZM?

“Of course it has, haha. I mean we were young kids when we were NECROGAZM, so our mindset is completely different now. Back then it was 90 miles a minute!! Blow your load as soon as you can hahaha. Today we like to put it in gear and cruise on the highway to our destination and walk down there to enjoy the view!! Haha”

5. How do you approach songwriting?

“Song writing has always been the same since the beginning really. I bust a riff and Trav busts a beat ha-ha. When we get together in the jam room magic happens instantly. Les will come in with the low end and JT will come in with the vocals. Sometimes JT will hum a melody or even write a lyric and I will hear it and just play it. Like I said it's really magical lol. Les comes up with a lot of chorus riffs and bridges and Travis is really the backbone of the whole process!! His drumming really brings the dynamic of EVERY song!! For real!! Without him we wouldn't be the band we are!! Sure, I can come up with riffs BUT when he starts playing to them it really comes together way MORE than I even imagined!!”
